Deceased Estate Services (D.E.S) take care of everything, from start to finish. We are all about efficiency and quality. D.E.S come in, empty the estate by selling, donating and disposing of all chattels before giving the house a professional clean inside and out (if required). Fresh, empty and ready to sell. We realise that every estate and situation are as unique as they are similar. If you require certain chattels to remain at the Estate or don't require certain aspects of the cleaning service inside or out etc, this is not a problem. Every job is customisable. Removal of Chattels: During the procedure of removing chattels from the estate, D.E.S determine what items can be sold at auction or privately. Items of little value (example: pens and pads, old toasters, kettles, VHS machines, telephones, old clothes, etc) are not worth the time seeking buyers for and are donated to the nearest op shop. 

A donation sheet is completed by the charity shop for documentation purposes for our client. Any other remaining miscellaneous smaller items (example; old toiletries, broken furniture, mouldy clothes, general rubbish, etc) are taken to the nearest transfer station / refuse tip. 

Interior House Cleaning: Once all chattels are removed, it's time to clean (if required / requested). Our cleaning services consist of, but are not limited to: Kitchen including cupboards and drawers inside and out, fridges and ovens. Cleaning of bedrooms, living rooms, conservatories, garages / sheds, sleep-outs, bathrooms including toilets, basins, baths and showers. Skirting boards, ceiling / wall cobwebs, window sills, grimy light switches and plug sockets, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, etc are all included. 

D.E.S go over the entire house without being too pedantic (unless requested), to make sure it's in a clean and presentable state. Once we have completed the job, the vast majority of estates go straight on the market. We fully understand what is required to have them "open home" ready. We work with numerous real estate agents so know what they like and what is needed to sell, sell, sell!


Exterior / Garden Work: While we believe interior cleans are worth doing in every job, exterior yard work is optional. If required, D.E.S offer the following exterior services: weeding, water blasting the house, driveways and paths, gardening, lawn mowing (push or ride on) and general tidying duties like organising or removing pot plants, removing old deck chairs, garden gnomes, ornaments, etc. We can also take care of D.I.Y tasks like fixing loose doors, decking, fences, repairing broken odds and ends. We have all the tools and know how.  All of this can be discussed during the walk through (quote). 

Selling Vehicles: If the deceased has a vehicle requiring selling, D.E.S can handle this. The following is required: 1) A certified copy of the death certificate, 2) A copy of the will stating who the executors are and 3) Written authorisation from all the executors giving approval for the sale of said vehicle(s). This can all be obtained from your solicitor and is a very simple process and is standard procedure.

Relocating Family Pets: Sadly, if for some reason the deceased owner's pet is left without an owner or no one in the immediate family can take care of him / her, worry not, D.E.S will house the pet(s) until we find a loving family or "worst case", a suitable SPCA to adopt him/her. We are massive animal lovers!
